Jacksonville

We are looking for a hotel for 1 day pre cruise that will shuttle us to the port. Also, a hotel for a couple of days post cruise by the beach. Anyone have any suggestions? We've never been to Jacksonville before.

I'm not sure of any hotels that have the free shuttle, but I would check out hotels.com to find one. The port is located off of 9A and I believe there is a hotel right there (can't remember the name off hand). Also a really good hotel at the beach is Sea Turtle Inn. It's right on the beach.

Duval Road, which is also known as "Airport Road"

The first page shows at least 17 choices by the airport.

 

 

The Sea Turtle is very nice but its quite far from the port.

 

The hotel closest to the port is Holiday Inn Express.

I booked a room at the best western airport. 89.00 and that incudes parking, shuttle round trip and a hot breakfast.

We are staying at the travelodge... http://www.travelodgejax.com/. It is just over $100 for the night after all taxes etc.; free shuttle; free breakfast/ free internet and heated pool (we'll be there March 29th). Let you know how it was after our trip... Carnival Fascination March 30th!!

 

Not as good at $89 Blake.... dis that include taxes and everthing? If so, good job
