Fantasy roulette limits/minimums?

Generally there is a $5 minimum bet, even if you play inside, you need to bet at least $5. I've seen numerous croupier's ignore this on lively tables, but I've also seen it enforced. Also, I've seen reduced chip amounts available during the day at times (50 cents instead of at least a dollar).

The betting minimums have been $1 for inside bets and there was a sign stipulating that for the entire cruise. When did you last cruise and on which ships?

I cant remember ever going to even a land based casino where the minimum inside was the same as the outside bet.

The minimum *total* bet is $5, not $5 per number. And I've been cruising 1-2 times per year for the last 10 years - all Carnival (Mardi Gras, Fantasy, Ecstasy, Inspiration, Imagination, Destiny, Pride, Paradise) and multiple times on some of the ships. I generally gamble everyday without fail too :)

I am not sure of the MAXIUM total bet but I know it is a lot more than $25.00.

I have also seen people play a couple hundred at a time!! :)

As far as the MINIMUM, it has been $1.00 inside and $5.00 outside on every cruise I have been on.

I guess I should have written that differently :) You cant place more that $25 on any single number.

Sailed on the LEgend jsut recently. Yes-- $1 minumum for insides but you have to use $1.00 bets 5 times over the inside. You will not be able to jsut walk over and place one dollar bet on one number.

Cool cruise: was that on Carnival recently? I know the guy on the LEgend told me I oculdnt do it with 3.00 on 3 different numbers--told me I needed 2 more. Now I wonder if he jsut didnt know what he was doing. I do know that there was a girl thre was mighty flustered after a guy came down on her for something stupid that he did.

It used to be just a $1 and you could just play one number, but that was over 10 years ago on my first cruise. I had never played roulette and was watching when everyone except an older gentleman got up and left. He asked me if I was going to play and I told him I didn't know how. He told me to sit down and he would teach me, gave me $50 to start with. He made me promise to always play "his" number (23) and he said I could keep the winnings. I made $76 after paying him back his stake and was hooked! I remember I was amazed when I went to Las Vegas that I had to play on at least 5 numbers, instead of just 1, like on the cruise ship.

The last cruise I went on had a $5 minimum inside and you could split it anyway you wanted. Oh, the days of yore, when roulette was cheap and they didn't care if you brought your own liquor!!

I was on a cruise last month and lots of people were playing just 1 number with $1 inside.

Right--you could put only one chip on any number as long as you picked 5 numbers total. (I now wonder if this is rules that apply at night)

No, I mean these people were just playing 1 number total. This happened for the entire cruise, day and night.

Going on the carnival victory 12/26 to eastern carb. Min/,max bets, odds, hours of casino. any comps. if so what?

See if the Victory has Ocean Players club onboard. Comps is determine by how much you play. (casinos onboard dont have odds like a land based casino) I would think the majority of people on a cruise ship is there for the fun of it- where in Vegas you have some serious gamblers. I dont think you will find that on a ship.
