crestofawave Posted March 2, 2009 #1 Share Posted March 2, 2009 Looking to book for the Summer Venice to Monte Carlo on the Navigator. Never cruise before and the TA is offering two adjacent suites 868 & 870 in Cat F - which i think are right at the bak of the boat. They are telling me that the boat is busy and need to move fast, are these good cabins or should i be pushing for better positions, if so where> Thanks in advance
Wendy The Wanderer Posted March 2, 2009 #2 Share Posted March 2, 2009 See if she can find you something midship. I've not stayed in that area, but Navigator does have vibration problems aft. We had an F cabin mid-ship on deck 6, and it was great.
traveller333 Posted March 2, 2009 #3 Share Posted March 2, 2009 Do NOT get an aft cabin on the Navigator, the vibrations is bad. Mid-ship is best.

This ship has a vibration problem towards the back. The closest to the front, the better. I have stayed twice in cabins toward the front and you feel no vibration there. Dolebludger Posted March 2, 2009 #5 Share Posted March 2, 2009 The "E" suites on deck six are just fine. Balconies and no vibration. These are the odd-numbered suites on this deck.
caroleb123 Posted March 2, 2009 #6 Share Posted March 2, 2009 We have booked an E cabin on deck 7. Is this a good position?

Travelcat2 Posted March 5, 2009 #8 Share Posted March 5, 2009 Currently on the Navigator -- the forward suites are feeling a lot of movement on this cruise as are suites on deck 11. The computer room is mid-ship on six and is probably one of the best places to be at the moment (still, it is rocking a bit)
