Tapas and other bars?

Do these places in Mahajual take any credit cards? Probably a stupid question, but just hoping! And is the peso still around 11.5 to $1?

At the moment there are no facilities to accept credit cards in the town of Mahahual. As of yesterday telephones were introduced to the town so I am sure there will be a few places in the future offering this facility. Today the dollar was 11.5 to the peso.

That is a good idea as the closest bank is 85 miles away and that is what is always lacking here. People bring large bills and then have to wait for someone to run around and get someone to change them. It can be frustrating for you guys.
