Just a quick question on parking. You said it is on the third floor. I have a large pickup with a topper that makes it about 7ft high and I just hope it won't be a clearance issue getting up there or is it completely open on the ramp up there?

The third floor parking in manhattan is open so youll be fine....:D

I think you'll be fine. The height restriction is 8' 4", but you might want to go to their site and check.

Radio...although I didn't get the pleasure of reading it "live" the amount of information given was outstanding. How you managed to vacation & detail everything, including marvelous pictures is amazing. If you are still checking back could you explain how the food board that you posted the pic of works. Is it a electronic board that is continually adjusted regarding the amount of room available? Do you know if you can find out in advance what each evenings meals will be so you can choose the specialties better? One last question, did they offer a mystery dinner?

Can anyone tell me if the BA aft/stern balconies are larger than the balconies of the other BA's on the Gem? I always hear about the aft balconies - but have not found someone who has been in one on the Gem. We have 10168 and 9674 booked for ourselves and my parents.

Yes, we have stayed in 10168, very large balcony, you will love it!
