tigerabbit Posted March 10, 2009 #1 Share Posted March 10, 2009 we are booked in a balcony room on Celebrity Century on a TA cruise, is a room upgrade really worth the difference? :)
Karynanne Posted March 10, 2009 #2 Share Posted March 10, 2009 It depends on the location of that upgrade. If you have a 2A, 2B category, and you want to upgrade to a CC (especially an Aft location), and if the additional fee fits your budget...then yes, upgrade. We all have specific choices as to what we find of value.
Rare geoherb Posted March 10, 2009 #3 Share Posted March 10, 2009 Once we get to the balcony level of cabin, it's not worth much more to us. Sure it would be nice to have a suite or an aft balcony, but not if having one would cost us a lot more. I like the old saying about upgrading your ship instead of your cabin. pumpkin 11 Posted March 10, 2009 #4 Share Posted March 10, 2009 I agree geoherb. suites are nice and all but i don't think i would want to pay for a suite, we don't use the cabin that much anyway!:)
hylasgirl Posted March 10, 2009 #5 Share Posted March 10, 2009 If it isn't to a suite, I don't think it would be worth it. Every other cabin is exactly the same size. There aren't a whole lot of perks with any other regular size balcony cabin. Now... a Sky Suite... that would be nice. I have sailed CC on the Century and unless it is VERY close to what you are paying... it isn't worth the difference. Enjoy!
