Menus from the Gem Main Dining Room?

I have seen all the specialty restaurant menus posted (thank you angeljt!), but am wondering if anyone has posted the current menus from the Main Dining Rooms for the 7-day Bahama Gem cruise? I would love to get an idea as to when might be a good night (or 2) to book specialty dining on our upcoming cruise.

Thanks in advance!:)

The menus don't really change much from ship to ship in the main dinning rooms. Here is a link to pictures of the Jade menus for the main dinning room - 7 day cruise.

I would pick a specialty restaurant based on your planned schedule for the day and type of food you think that you want to eat, rather than to avoid a main dinning room menu.

After you board, go to the reception desk and ask to see the menus for the Gem main dinning room for the cruise...they typically have them there and you will get the real information.

Maybe you will find someone here who has and is willing to upload pictures from a recent Gem sailing...if not, you do have other resources.

Have a great cruise.

Thanks so much, bakerintn! We do actually choose when we do the specialty dining based on the offerings in the MDR, but perhaps for the opposite reason than you may think. DH is a vegetarian (no meat or seafood) and usually his favorite choices end up being the nightly vegie choice in the MDR. On the one or 2 nights when those don't thrill, THEN we do specialty, as we already know what's offered in those.

We will take a look upon boarding--I just thought it would be nice to get an idea in advance. That's the only planning we really do on a cruise, so the sooner done, the better, that's all. Then it's on to martinis and wine and casino and pool, dancing, etc! ;)

I'll take a look at the Jade menus, though. Thank you again!

Did I miss the link you referred to? Or am I having a not-quite-senior moment here ...

OOPS!! I did forget to paste the link to the Jade menus

Here it is:

There are some substantial differences between these menus and the ones we just had on the Gem (3/7), so the original poster should be aware of that. (Note...I just looked at the dinner menus, not the others).

Menus do change.

And most important, the mood of most passengers change as well.

I went out to dinner with family the last three nights at local restaurants.

All three times we each sat there and stared at the menu and could not decide what we wanted to eat. I am in awe of those that can plan months ahead as to what they want to eat on a certain night.
