US VI Back-to-Back- How many times for inspection?

Our upcoming cruise we have Puerto Rico and St.Thomas back-to-back. So, how many times will we have to report to customs, once or twice?

On our B2B in February, we went through Customs in San Juan but not the day before in St Thomas.

As far as I know, U.S. citizens are not having to clear Immigrations anymore when going to St. Thomas after visiting a foreign port. So you should only have to clear Customs once when you finally disembark the ship.
