Toto2Kansas Posted April 15, 2009 #2 Share Posted April 15, 2009 We are looking at a FF cabin...Obstructed. Can anyone tell us about it? Pictures? Thanks! Check the deck plans for the ship at Princess.com here: http://www.princess.com/learn/ships/ru/deck_plans/index.html . They are quite accurate and you should be able to see for yourself just how much of an obstruction is in front of the window for each stateroom you are looking into. ;)
skf Posted April 15, 2009 #3 Share Posted April 15, 2009 The cabins w/ the big launches are quite obstructed; those fore & aft w/ the smaller lifeboats give good views. Steve

E418-421 are the best IMHO. don't worry about the elevator lobby - not noisey at all.

The location of these 2 cabins is right in the middle of everything with a small elevator right off our cabins (we liked to pretend it was ours only!!!!). Also the small life vessels out the windows let us have almost an unobstructed view. We will definitely book those again anytime!

chloe kitty Posted April 16, 2009 #9 Share Posted April 16, 2009 We are looking at E632 on the Ruby. There appears to be no tender in front of it, but a few months ago we were on the Star with an obstructed view which showed no tender. Instead there was a platform which obviously doesn't appear on a deck plan. Does anyone know what type of obstruction is outside of E632? We appreciate any help!
