sethinohio Posted April 17, 2009 #1 Share Posted April 17, 2009 Hello All! I was wondering if anyone who has done the 12 night Summit Mediterranean (ideally from Barcelona to Venice) knows what nights are the formal nights? I know we have three formal nights, trying to determine when they are. Thanks!

SuzCruise Posted April 17, 2009 #3 Share Posted April 17, 2009 Where on your cruise docs does it indicate when the formal nights are? I'm trying to determine the same thing for my Baltic cruise next month and have not seen it in my cruise docs.

pennl Posted April 22, 2009 #8 Share Posted April 22, 2009 Being new to cruising, can you please tell me if it is best to eat at the speciality resturant on a formal night or not? Also, what is the dress codes on an informal night? Thanks
MisterBill99 Posted April 22, 2009 #9 Share Posted April 22, 2009 Being new to cruising, can you please tell me if it is best to eat at the speciality resturant on a formal night or not? Also, what is the dress codes on an informal night?Formal nights are generally when they will have something special on the menu in the main dining room, so it seems that eating at the specialty restaurant one of those nights would cause you to miss those items. I would think it is better to eat there when the normal menu is not as interesting to you. I assume that it is not a way to get out of dressing up, you have to go to the buffet area if you want to do that. I think that non-formal are business casual on Celebrity these days. I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong.

Also, what is the dress codes on an informal night? Thanks Dress code is the same as the main dining room for each particular night. Here is a link on the Celebrity web site. What is the dress code for the specialty restaurants? Subject: Dress Code The dress code in Celebrity's specialty restaurants is the same as the evening dress code in the main restaurant. Please refer to the dress schedule within the "Onboard Experience" section of this website to determine the appropriate attire for each cruise length. http://www.celebritycruises.com/beforeyourcruise/faq/home.do;jsessionid=0000MuM3bi6cZ5z-l_ROCbnUoib:12hdbcuh7?faqSubjectName=Dress+Code&faqId=2728&pagename=faq_answers
