Help with dress for Captains Dinner

TDD

Recommended Posts

I am new to cruising and I need some help with which dress to wear on captains night. I am going to post pictures so any input would be greatly appreciated.

I have two that I think would be ok to wear. One is a long black dress with a slit up one of the legs. It is simple, no flash.

The other is a short brown dress with a little flash at the waist.

Sorry guys, for some reason the black one is in here twice and I don't know how to fix it.

Thanks!

Either look to be fine...I'm assuming that the Captain's night is your "formal' evening. (The picture of the black dress only shows the very top, same with the brown) I like the detail on the top of the brown dress better than the black (and about 88% of the women will be in black...boring...)

Either dress will suit the occassion.

Hi,:) are you going on a 7 night cruise? There are usually 2 formal

nights...the pictures don't show on my screen too clearly.

Personally, I would do the long dress, but you will probably

get all kinds of replies;)

Enjoy your cruise:D

I think either would be fine. You see both long dresses and cocktail dresses. I'm doing cocktail myself. If there are 2 formal nights, people tend to dress a little more on the first than the second. You can dress up the black with a great evening shoe in black or silver. If you have 2 formals, you can wear the other on the second. Both look very nice. Wear whichever you feel best in. You'll be fine either way.
