TheFutureMrs. Posted May 7, 2009 #1 Share Posted May 7, 2009 So last night my husband and I were discussing our upcoming cruise and how we are trying to spend as little time as possible in the casino. ;) My husband said "Hey, they should have a pawn shop on board for when people lose big in the casino." We cracked up laughing. So, I thought it would be fun to see what other crazy things we could think of that they could put on a cruise ship - not seriously, just in jest. :p
Dajbman22 Posted May 7, 2009 #2 Share Posted May 7, 2009 With the current rate of expansion of each generation of mega-ships, it won't be long before we see ships build with small ponds... so you can go boating on the boat!
mr green Posted May 7, 2009 #3 Share Posted May 7, 2009 I have never seen anyone, cap in hand loooking for handouts. However I never go to the casino on the last day.:D john

Did see something similar to this. When on MSC Orchestra earlier this year when docked in St Maarten, as we walked back to the ship, the stern was facing us. A crew member was fishing off the stern though an open area below passenger level.

tgptmp Posted May 8, 2009 #7 Share Posted May 8, 2009 Something that I have never seen but have often wondered if people do, or are allowed to do, is that I have never seen anyone flying a kite off of the ship. But I have thought that it might be fun to do.

yakdaddy42 Posted May 10, 2009 #11 Share Posted May 10, 2009 When Im on a curise I miss the sound of my neighbors dog barking 23 hours a day I wish they had a pet store on the ship so I would not get so home sick.
BroncosFan2010 Posted May 10, 2009 #12 Share Posted May 10, 2009 I am waiting for something similar to Sky Mall for airlines... where we can buy all kind of useless stuff on board and have it waiting for us back home. Sometimes the shopping fix on the islands is not enough! LOL
nd53 Posted May 10, 2009 #13 Share Posted May 10, 2009 when we visit MX, there are always vendors walking the streets selling their wares, We could pick up different vendors at each port, and they would have a couple days between ports of call to make their sales. Ya Right..
