We were on the Avalon Scenery last October and loved it. We started with 2 days in Nice and then boarded the ship in Arles. The ship traveled on the Rhone from Arles (the place Van Gogh did many of his most famous paintings) to Lyon with stops in Avignon as well as other river cities. In Lyon we switched to the Seone River and made our way up into the Burgandy region. Then on to a visit in Beaune where, after lunch, we boarded a bus to spend the last two days of the trip in Paris. Great ship, great staff, great food, great ports, great trip!

Check out Uniworld and the River Royale. She has suites and one owner suite. The food was gourmet. Tours very good. Cities fantastic. Uniworld also has sundeck dining available on some of the itineraries. Pat
