Bringing soda/water on board

Can anyone tell me if they have been hassled bringing soda or water on board?? We were thinking of bringing a twelve pack of soda that princess doesn't serve, and a 12 pack of bottled water.

Any thoughts or experiences?

Thanks in advance

Not a problem at all. Actually, we brought a case of water with us when we drove to NYC for a cruise, securely attached a luggage tag and gave it to the porters -- it arrived in our cabin unscathed and we were good to go for the whole 9 day cruise.

Thanks for the feedback. I didn't think it would be an issue, but good to know based upon experiences

When I run low, I pick up more in ports and have never been hassled by Princess or Carnival for doing that. I think other lines might have a problem with it.
