Has there been an announcement of who will be the CD on the Dream when it sails from Canaveral :confused: ??

 

We have never sailed with John Heald - we missed him by just a couple of weeks on the Splendor last year :(. I wonder if he will be launching the Dream too??

Todd Wittmer will be the CD on the Dream. In fact he is with John Heald in Italy checking out the Dream right now. John will be on the Dream when it leaves Bermuda and then the two Bloggers' cruises in November and December but not as CD. He will be the CD when Todd takes his vacation early next year. I don't remember the dates but he will be on for our 2/13/10 cruise and for about a month before and after that.

 

Fred - can I get the coupons instead?

Maybe we still stand a chance!! Our sailing is 1/30/10 - so maybe *crossing fingers and hoping* it will be John, afterall :D.

I know that the AD on our cruise in May on the Pride is going to the Dream as an AD I think her name was Jennie Jeanie something like that I am drawing a blank. I didn't really like her she got on my nerves (annoying!LOL)

 

Her name is Jamie.

It will be Todd. John decided with a child on the way, he did not want to bring out the Dream. (from what I understand it is a killer schedule)

 

Todd, John, Roger and Gerry were all in Italy on Tuesday.

 

This will be the first ship in YEARS that John has not brought out.

 

I just talked to Todd on Friday and he said that Mouna will be the karaoke host. Jaime will be an ACD. Todd gets to hand pick his own staff.

I just got off the Freedom about 1 month ago, and Todd did mention that he was bringing James as the ACD as well. I really that combo. He also mentionned a few other names that he was bringing with him from the Freedom, but I forget now.

I LOVE James as well. We sailed with him when he was a Social Host on the Conquest in 2002 and he was a hoot! He got stuck doing karaoke one night and HATED IT. We tease him about it to this day.

 

It used to be that there was one CD, one ACD and 2 Social Hosts...now the ships have gotten so big they need 2 ACD and 4 Social Hosts (although now they call them all Entertainment Staff.)

You will have John! He is taking over for Todd from sometime in January(can't remember the exact date) and will be CD through the end of March! I will be cruising with him as CD in February! Can't wait...it is gonna be a blast!

Todd also does a pretty darn good job when singing as well. This was him entertaining on the casino stage last February.

This is Todd & James taping the Afternoon Show on the last sea day. They said it was the first time they'd ever attempted it live from the show lounge rather than their little studio . . . and I'd be tempted to say it was their last attempt (unless they figured out a way to do the phones and monitors).

Does anyone know when Todd will be back from Italy?? We sail this sat on the freedom and i'm really hoping that Todd is back on! We sailed with him last year on the freedom and loved him and really hope we can have him as CD this trip!

We were so fortunate to have John as CD on our first three cruises.....No one has quite lived up to his great work since then. Oh well...I am sure Todd is great, as well. :D

Todd was on the Miracle when we sailed years ago, and he was a hoot! We'll be on the Dream in late May, so please please please report back about the ship. I can never get enough info about the Dream! :D

Apparently there are THREE James (ACD) aaauuggghh....I was thinking of the James that was on the Splendor with us Don.

 

They need some nicknames so we can tell them apart!!!
