Scooter/helmet question

There's no helmet law in Florida. Much to the chagrin of the motocyclist's who have crashed I might add.

 

Actually, this is not correct. Motorcylists are required to wear a helmet in Florida. However, a person 21 years of age or older is exempted if they carry a $10,000 personal injury insurance policy for driving a motorcyle. They have to carry proof of the insurance on the bike.

 

BTW, none of this relates to scooters of 49 cc's or less.
