Which Hilton in London?

Recommended Posts

Which Hilton would you recommend?

  • Hilton Trafalgar, London

  • Waldorf Hilton, London

I have read reviews in Trip Advisor but you can go crazy reading there.

Just wondering if anyone has stayed at either one of these and may feel that one may be better than the other.

We stayed at the Waldorf Hilton last May. It is a lovely hotel. It is an old hotel, but has been updated with modern decor. It is located right in the Theater district and was very convenient. We walked to restaurants, the National Museum, Trafalgar Square, etc. and even walked down to the Parliament Buildings, Big Ben, and the Millenium Wheel. (We enjoy walking and the weather was great) We saw "Dirty Dancing" which was playing at the theater directly next to the Waldorf Hilton. There was also a great market area nearby (just a few blocks away) with shops, restaurants, etc. There was a nice Executive Lounge in the hotel, too. All in all, we were very satisfied with the Waldorf Hilton. There was a bit of street noise, however; but nothing that would deter our staying there again.

We stayed at the Waldof Hilton last August and were very pleased. The hotel and rrom were very nice and the service was excellent. The location is vey convenient to many sights and the bus stop is very close to the hotel.

We just got back from our stay at The Bentley Hotel (Waldorf Astoria - Hilton) on Harrington Gardens Road in South Kensington area. It is decorated very beautifully and the rooms were huge. The staff and service were excellent! Our package had breakfast included, which was a plus...it was good too before we set out on our big sightseeing days. We loved the location; close to the Gloucester Tube Station. We will definitely stay there again when we go back!!!
