Kaaaitlyn:) Posted June 8, 2009 #3 Share Posted June 8, 2009 For the coffee card, you buy it at the beginning of your cruise! It costs about $24 if I remember right, and there are 15 punches on it, good for special coffees and teas etc! But, if you're nice to the baristas you might get lucky and not have to have the card punched! :) The soda card is definatly good for the kids, its exactly what it says! Soda:) I can't remember how much it costs though.. maybe $19??
paul929207 Posted June 8, 2009 #4 Share Posted June 8, 2009 Soda sticker is $4.25 per day plus 15% tip. It is good for all fountain sodas in all bars and restuants. It is not good for cans, room service or Princess Cays.
lynn247 Posted June 8, 2009 #5 Share Posted June 8, 2009 Other than "spiked" coffee, what is NOT included with the coffee card? I seem to remember  that some frozen coffees were not included?
vmom Posted June 8, 2009 #6 Share Posted June 8, 2009 We used the coffee card for frozen coffees serveral times. I don't think there was anything not covered with the card. I think that if you want a double shot of expresso, you might possibly be "charged" 2 punches.
crafticruiser Posted June 8, 2009 #7 Share Posted June 8, 2009 It's also good to know that if you have punches left on your coffee card at the end of your cruise, you can use it on future cruises. I didn't realize this when I had my first card and ended up drinking lots of coffee on the last couple of days :D. Marcia in CT
Stevesan Posted June 8, 2009 #8 Share Posted June 8, 2009 Hi can we have any info on the soda & coffee card i could not find any info on Pricess web site, we are sailing June 20th on CB:) Can't help with the soda card, but: The Coffee Card: Brewed coffee is $1.00/cup, most specialty coffees are $3.00, espresso $2.50. $25 (+ gratuity) buys you a coffee card with fifteen punch outs for specialty coffees, and unlimited brewed coffee at the Cafe and other lounges that have brewed coffee. You can also use it in the dining rooms for specialty coffees. The server is directed to take two punch outs for double shot orders, some do, some don't. Since the coffee card is for a discrete quantity it's not time limited. If there are punchouts remaining at the end of the cruise the card can carry over to the next cruise. Pia1913 Posted June 8, 2009 #10 Share Posted June 8, 2009 Are brewed teas and hot chocolate also included in the unlimited on the coffee cards? I don't drink either, but I understand hot chocolate is included w/o needing a punch. I don't know if they even "brew" tea, but I'm sure you'll get a response from the tea drinkers. paul929207 Posted June 8, 2009 #11 Share Posted June 8, 2009 Are brewed teas and hot chocolate also included in the unlimited on the coffee cards? My wife drinks a lot of tea and has always been happy with the selection at the beverage service by the buffet.
Pia1913 Posted June 8, 2009 #12 Share Posted June 8, 2009 My wife drinks a lot of tea and has always been happy with the selection at the beverage service by the buffet. The question Paul, was about brewed tea. Do they do that?
Joe Pflanz Posted June 9, 2009 #13 Share Posted June 9, 2009 I just returned on June 7th on the Star. I have one unused coffee card and one about half punched. I will mail them to the first two requesters, who email me and ask and agree to pay it forward somehow. All on the honor system. The one has all punches remaining and the other has 6 punches remaining. Email request to pflanz@pflanz.com Joe

kagra Posted June 9, 2009 #17 Share Posted June 9, 2009 Coffee cards do not expire and may be used on any future Princess cruise. this is not true for soda cards.:p
WNT Posted June 9, 2009 #18 Share Posted June 9, 2009 It is unclear to me where the coffee card can be used. Are the specialty and freshly brewed coffees in the bar areas, or somewhere else?
cubfan63 Posted June 9, 2009 #19 Share Posted June 9, 2009 "Soda Card" is a Sticker that they put on your Cruise Card, so it definitely cannot be carried forward to a later cruise.

Joe Pflanz Posted June 10, 2009 #23 Share Posted June 10, 2009 Yesterday I mailed out the two Coffee cards I had left over, but forgot the other thing I brought back with me.... I have one of the 2 for 1 coupons from the coupon book cruisers get from the travel agent. It is good until the 31st of December 2009. It gets you one free when you purchase one of the coffee cards, good for all of the brewed coffee or hot chocolate you want and for 15 Coffee Specialties. I will mail it to the first person to send me a requesting email to pflanz@pflanz.com. I will post once it is taken. All I ask is for the recipient to do a random act of kindness to pay it forward.
