The ULTIMATE World Cruise

Received this information from my TA, who is offering early booking savings of over $9000 ... what a dream cruise . . . 335 nights!!! I absolutely hate to fly, but I would fly to Singapore to do this (I can easily say that now, because I do not have the time, nor the money ($230,000+ p/p).

I would go, if I had that kind of money to throw around :p

Two things though:

- How can it be the ultimate world cruise if it's just barely touching Africa and South America?

- Almost $700/night for the cheapest cabin? Must be a fancy ship.

I have done two world cruises. And those cruises were 108 days. For us the size boat was a big factor in our selection. We needed a ship that would provide sufficient activiites and also public space.

For many the ship you mentioned would not work. It only carries around 120 pasengers. There is no entertainment at night.

I think it would be good for some, but not for the majority of people considering such a long voyage.

Seabourn whose ships are about twice the size of this one, didn't offer World Cruises until January 2010 with the rollout of its new Seabourn Odyssey which is a 450 passenger ship.
