We had Shawn Bussey for the first time last October (on the Sensation) and she is a hoot. (Especially during the Pub Crawl) She is cute as a button.

I can't wait to see her again shortly!!

I'm sorry to hear avout his birds but it would be awesome if he came back to Carnival. We had him on the Conquest a few years ago (Chris Jefferson was the assistant CD). What a great team. Best CD we've ever had by far.

we had the same team Schmidt/Jefferson on the Conquest (the first New Year's Eve that she sailed) and they were both excellent.

I so hated to hear about his birds. But I do hope that he has returned to Carnival.

Bsan--I think Carlo is on vacation now, he was on Glory in April, and I talked to him, he said he was doing 2-4 weeks on 4 or 5 different ships then going on vacation, so that would put him on vacation now.

We had John H. on the Triumph last year. Glad to hear he will be on our Glory cruise in November. He is supposedly the BEST!! I thought he was retiring....but thats okay we loved him.

I know it is a lot of work, but this is one of the best threads around for those of us who get "attached" to our CD's!!!

Shawn Bussey is only on the Spirit for a short time and then she will be going back to the Sensation. I think she is taking Tina with her as her Assistant.

Shawn also told me that there had been some talk about Corey Schmidt returning, but that, at this time, it was a no go.

When you cruise and see a change in CD from the list on your ship, post a note and let us know!! please.... thanks!

They are probably on vacation. I heard that Shawn's stretch on the Spirit was only going to be a couple of months...so maybe they are coming back when she transfers to the Sensation???
