Teppamyaki

When we were on the Pearl in January, 11 of us ate at Teppanyaki for my birthday. The tables seat 8, so three of us sat at the adjacent table. I don't know how many tables there are on the Dawn; on the Pearl there were four but on the Star there were only two. I was concerned about making reservations for 11 people, so I went to the CC Meet & Greet and explained the situation (ie my birthday) to the Hotel Director and he made all the arrangements for me. Of course he said he couldn't promise anything and I assured him that I understood that completely, but he was able to get it done. I think this is your best bet for that number of people. :)

I'm sure you could arrange something, however the Dawn only has Two Hibachi Grills. I'm not sure that they could acommodate 25 people with some serious chair rearranging.... They might be able to pull it off. The responder is right, ask the HD at the Meet and Greet :)

And I thank you

We did Teppanyaki on the Spirit. The table sat 10. Reservation are tough to get and they won't book out more than 24 hours in advance. Call first thing in the morning for the following evening. Not sure if you will be able to get a large group in there. BTW, it was awesome!

Will be on the Dawn in August with a large group. We were thinking of Teppanyaki for a group dinner (about 25 of us). Is this something we would be able to reserve? How many can be seated at a table?

Thanks.

A great idea. We did 30+ on the Pearl and Gem. Sadly on the Dawn you really could not fit 25 into the two tables. Best case if the work with you they might be able to squeeze in 20 assuming no one else has reservation. If one of your group is in a penthouse get with the concierge day one and see what they can do.

Teppanyaki on the Dawn only holds 20 (2 tables of 10). Contact the groups department and you can make reservations ahead of time: GroupEventDawn@ncl.com I did that on our last Dawn cruise last month because we wanted to eat there the first night.

I second this way. If one of the group is in a Garden Villa/ Owner's Suite maybe it can be done there?? With the Butler helping as while.

I guess you have no idea what the Teppanyaki restaurant is. It uses special hibachi grills, with the chef slicing, dicing, cooking and putting on a show in front of the diners, who are seated around the grill. It's definitely not something that can be done in a suite! It requires special equipment.

On the Dawn there are only 2 tables I don't think it is big enough for you all:( But it is wonderful and we will be there for the Aug. 9th sailing to Bermuda:p We can't wait either.

Wow - I didn't realize it was so small. We'll be on the Dawn on the 16th - right after you return. Please make sure you leave some money in the casino for me!!!

Thanks everyone for your info!
