Shogun Posted July 12, 2009 #1 Share Posted July 12, 2009 Hi all, I thought it was time that I e-mailed the boss about the level care I received from a Princess empolyee, now I use the word care, because while they are paid to offer a service, showing feelings for a passenger is different. Now I have heard others saying they had a reply back within hours. Well so did I. So the question is does the boss reply to all these e-mails himself. Or like many, he has a team doing this for him, Now the reply and my e mail was copied to a VP and others What do you think. yours Shogun

Whenever anyone writes, emails or calls in to address a complaint to Director level or above, they are directed to one of two specialist teams that deal with these enquiries. These are trained people, but they are paid at around the same rate as any other contact centre adviser. Some complaints do get to the attention of our MD, CEO etc but these are very few and a minority of the total. Hope this helps! Is this the same thing that you have written in about? Do you wish to share any of your experiences with your fellow CC-ers?
Shogun Posted July 12, 2009 Author #3 Share Posted July 12, 2009 Hi Fridaythecat, Letter and e-mail are on different topics, I do not want to post details for two reasons Princess reads these posts and the ship in question also checks. So I do not want to tip anyone off. yours Shogun

Atomica Posted July 12, 2009 #6 Share Posted July 12, 2009 I would imagine that the email, while sent to the CEO, was also CC'd to the relevant team of assistants that he undoubtably has (he's a busy guy). The message, I'd assume, would also have been cc'd to the appropriate personnel on the ship
Colo Cruiser Posted July 12, 2009 #7 Share Posted July 12, 2009 Yes he would have assistants to handle these comments. :)
howard6933 Posted July 12, 2009 #8 Share Posted July 12, 2009 I doubt very much if any comments or complaints get through to the CEO of a cruise line or even any other company. That's what they have "customer service" for. A couple of years ago I had a serious complaint with a cruise line and I wrote to the CEO whose name I got from a brochure or something. The answer I got was from someone in customer service. I was not satisfied with that, so I wrote another letter to the CEO and on the outside of the envelope, in big bold letters I wrote, "PERSONAL AND CONFIDENTIAL". Guess what.......I got another response from someone in customer service. I finally gave up. :(

Shogun Posted July 12, 2009 Author #10 Share Posted July 12, 2009 Hi all, With the reply I got CCed to a VP Fleet operations as I spotted his name and others but not the ship I am sure my message will get to some one with some power. May be Princess should make the senior management take cruises, but as normal passengers , so they see and get treated the way we do, yours Shogun
