Denali Must Do's?

What else is a must do in Denali National Park other than the Park Shuttle to Eielson and a Flightseeing tour? We will have 2 half days plus 1 full day. Thanks!:)

Seriously, I really feel people miss a lot by not getting off the shuttle bus.

 

I was at Denali later in May and also had 2 half days and one full day. I went into the park 4 times during that time. The more times into the park, the more chances to see wildlife and the Mountain. One trip = very little wildlife. But another trip later in the day I saw a lot of wildlife. You can most likely take a shuttle to Toklat on the day of arrival or departure. Also lots to do near the entrance. Check out http://www.nps.gov/dena.

Yes, get off the bus. Take a midnight sun ATV ride. Sit quietly and enjoy the scenic sights. Rafting, fishing, drive to Denali State Park.

Drive your car or take the shuttle to Savage River very early in the morning and/or later in the evening. Many more animals with no buses. My friend watched a lynx there for 30+ minutes a few evenings ago.
