Has anyone ever won money in a Carnival Casino?

Well, I have had very good luck on several of my cruises. I play dollar slots. My very first cruise I won 1500.00. On the second cruise I won 1800.00. On the third cruise, I hit 5 jackpots during the duration of the cruise which came to a total of 9,000.00. That was an unbelievable cruise, I'll never forget. Of course there has been a couple afterwards that I did'nt do as well. Can't expect to win on every cruise you go on, but overall I have pretty lucky. Good luck to you if you decide to play. It's all in the luck of the draw, so to speak or just being on the right machine at the right time.;)

Well..........most cruises I win a little...........(500+)........but last year I won $5500 total over 3 cruises...........it paid for all of my 2009 and booked 2010 cruises...........

I just pay slots........I play .25 machines in my money and $1 machines on their money, so I won $3000 playing on their money last year.

Can't decide whether to gamble on board or not.

It is always a'gamble' to gamble.(LOL)

Just plan on not losing more that you can afford.

A true 'gambling' story:

The last night of one of our cruises my wife wanted to buy a purse on board. I said buy it. No she said it cost too much.

So using typical male logic I said, Well we will just go to the casino and win the money.

So off we go, play the slots, and I am losing and then I hear this commotion.

I know you all are reading ahead here, but you are right.

She hit the jackpot on a dollar machine. Won enough to pay for purse and pay for the sign and sail card.(5 day cruise)

Moral of the story: You never know because it is a gamble.

You asked the wrong question. All your replies will be how much the cruisers won. What you should have asked was how much they won over and above what they put in. Then you could fit all the replies on one page. I know there is always the case where some one puts in a dollar and suddenly owns the ship. On the other hand all I have seen are a couple hundred people feeding the beasts.

Ok, I am truly shocked! I thought nobody wins on cruises! I can't believe you all won that much! Are there more winners at the beginning of the cruise or the end or does it matter?

Play slots first 2 or 3 days, stay away on last 2 days. can't prove, but I believe they reset machines, make back what they gave away on first part of cruise. Wife has won 2 slot and 1 blackjack tournament. $500 each minus $20 entry fee.

Yes, agree with the OP, wondering how much people put in before they won their jackpots. Ususally, I give up with in the first $20-40, which honestly, sometimes only takes 3 or 4 minutes if I'm on a crappy machine and of course, always play max. If I'm at a table, well then were talking about a lot of time, like 15 minutes!

I've won playing video poker. I usually quit when I get a certain point ahead. The pay tables aren't the greatest. Slot machines and video poker have a randem number generator. If you're playing video poker and press the deal button it says give me 10 cards. Now the second five could be four of a kind or a royal flush. The odds are against it however. Same goes for a slot machine. They can't change the odds by hitting a button or switch inside the machine. They did have companys that rigged slots/video poker in Nevada. That was over twenty years ago. I did work in Vegas some years ago. I have seen the same video poker machine hit the royal over six times in one shift. And on different occasions. I remember once where someone hit the royal and asked if they should change machines. I said they had the same chance on the same machine. I came by an hour later and the women had another royal and thanked me. The end machines tend to get the most play. The areas that are most traveled tend to get machines that hit more often but for smaller amounts. They control that by programing and or adjusted the pay tables. Again, There's no hot switch.

Won with royal flush a couple of times, did good at three card poker last cruise. Out of 6 cruises, lost one one (big) of all the others only won big on two so I think I am a little up, but always have a good time.

I brake even most of the time, but last cruise on the Esctasy I heard a woman screaming and went to look only to find that she had won $2500 on the .25 slots. So, the answer is YES you can win.

Yep I have won! $650 once and $1250 on a different cruise! Won the $1250 on a $1 slot and I think the $650 was a quarter machine.....Needless to say, last cruise I couldn't win ANYTHING! I will be toning down my gambling this cruise since it is very easy for me to get carried away!

I made thirteen hundred on 13 rolls of the dice. left the table came back later and gave that and another 12 hundred back.

DW came home after sign and sail, my and her loses , up 2000 more than we came on the ship with . I don't know how much she really won, it was a 7 day and we usually spend about 1200 for 7 days on S&S . she was playing 1.00 slots , feeds about 2-300 into it to win

Got a straight Flush on let it ride last year on the Miracle :D $4K That was a lot of fun after I stopped screaming LOL. Then not an hour later someone hit for $5K playing Carrib Stud Poker. The next dayt a woman won $15K on slots. We all wondered if we would be able to afford gas for the trip back to NYC!

Other than that - NO winnings on any other cruises.
