DJan07 Posted July 27, 2009 #1 Share Posted July 27, 2009 Hey Everyone, I read a while ago that Royal Caribbean signed some type of agreement for a fourth Freedom Class ship. I believe I read that if the ship was built it would be completed in late 2011, but I'm not positive about that. Anyway, if Royal Caribbean decides to build this ship, what do you think the name could be for this ship that fits the current theme? Freedom, Liberty, and Independence all fit well together, but I can't really think of another word that sounds good and works well with the others. Any ideas? dfa1 Posted July 27, 2009 #3 Share Posted July 27, 2009 Pretty sure that you're right about the letters of intent, however, if I recall correctly, I think RCCL scratched those plans in order to go ahead with "Project Genesis."

I heard the plans to build the Fourth Freedom Class Ship were put on hold due to the economy. :( As for her name... Not sure. I know the second Freedom class ship was supposed to be named Endeavour of the Seas, but ended up being Liberty of the Seas.

The fourth Freedom Class ship was originally planned to come after Allure of the Seas. (The Second Genesis Ship)
