Alternate parking while at midtown NYC hotel

Are there alternate placed to park other than the hotel. We will be staying midtown and will park at the pier for the cruise. We are looking for 3 days.

Midtown parking is never easy. Sometimes you can get lucky with a spot but make sure to read the signs carefully. Its ok if you find a spot a few blocks away, just take a taxi to the hotel.There are parking lots in NYC that you pay by the hour.

Check out this site - http://nyc.bestparking.com/index.php You might even find a place on the west side near the pier where you could park for the entire time. Cars in Manhattan are a PITA unless you are willing to throw money at them.

Parking on the street is almost impossible for three days because of alternate side of the street parking. Even if you find a spot, you will have to move it the next morning. NYC is known to tow your car to the impound lot, and good luck getting it out.:eek:

I wouldn't take the risk I would suggest looking for some cheap paid-parking.
