Nancyquilts Posted September 5, 2009 #27 Share Posted September 5, 2009 You can also buy molas in Puntarenas just off the pier. They import lots of things from the other Central American countries.
rubinstein2r Posted September 6, 2009 #28 Share Posted September 6, 2009 Those of you on this thread who have visited the Enbera Village: do you regret doing that rather than the full transit? I'm having a helluva time making this choice. --My_AZ
grandmato4 Posted September 6, 2009 #29 Share Posted September 6, 2009 Those of you on this thread who have visited the Enbera Village: do you regret doing that rather than the full transit? I'm having a helluva time making this choice. --My_AZ We didn't regret our decision at all to visit the village instead of doing the full transit excursion. We really enjoyed visiting the village and enjoyed seeing more of Panama on our way to the village and back to the ship. It is our hope that we will one day in the coming years actually do a full transit cruise when we are both retired and have more time. There is no guarentee that will happen, but we have high hopes and feel we would enjoy seeing the entire canal best in that fashion so we were willing to take the chance. If we felt that this was our one and only chance to ever see the entire canal I think we would have chosen the canal transit excursion. :)
