Two cruises, on one cruise you visit Martinque and St. Martin. On the other cruise you visit Antigua and St Kitts. Both cruises visit: St lucia, St Thomas and Barbados. Need to make up my mind which cruise to take. Would like your opinions. All things being equal, which do you prefer?:p

Have been to all those ports many times.

I would choose Antigua and St Kitts first.

Martinique -- people there are terrible!! The new pier is not close to town. We were so thankful when last spring our cruise to that port was cancelled.

On the other side -- we do love St Maarten.

I would also opt for the cruise with the stop in St. Martin. We love to visit Orient Beach each time we cruise there. St. Kitts is pretty but, the town is very run down and not much to see there. Stay aboard in Martinique and enjoy a peaceful day by the pool the ship will be very quiet with 50% of the passengers out doing day trips.

I was in Antigua recently for a week, not as a port stop on a cruise.

I wasn't impressed. Sort of a flat island, and not much in the way

of interesting tour things to do. Not that many good shops either.

I love St. Kitts. Beautiful island, and really nice people.

The last times I was in St. Maarten I did not go to Orient Beach, but

took the local "bus" (more like a passenger van) for a couple of dollars

to the 'airplane beach'. Seeing planes take off and land right over your heads on the beach is a unique thing to do.

Martinique...no thanks.

Looks like you have one good island and one that I would skip on each

sailing, IMHO.
