  1. @Castaway Cowgirl I don’t believe if you’re just purchasing daily Internet like occasionally ,I don’t think there’s ever a stoppage. If you’re trying to purchase a Wi-Fi package onboard then yes ,I’m sure there’s a point that they stop offering it -you would not want to have to pay for all seven days if you didn’t use the Internet on day one and two etc. The package for one device, which basically means one device at a time, so if you and your cabin mate don’t want to use the Internet at the same time ,you can use two different devices. The package price is $24.99 times the amount of days of your voyage. And if you are platinum and above status then you get 50% off in the form of on board credit. Maybe someone knows the daily price if you just get Internet occasionally .I’m actually not sure on that price -$30 for 24 hour??
  2. @Castaway Cowgirl yes you can buy Wi-Fi onboard any day that you need it.( i .e. 24 hour period) You do not have to buy for the whole week if your cruise is for example seven days. Of course it’s most likely a higher price per day than a package per day ,if you buy it -let’s say on a Monday and a Wednesday ( daily rate), but if that’s all you need wi fi ,then yes you can buy it for whatever days you need. But of course you can buy it onboard your cruise as well or you can purchase it on the app( for length of cruise package only )before you cruise . If you only need it for a few days here and there, then you cannot purchase it in advance, I do not believe. You just do it when you get onboard.
  3. @Usuallyrightagainso this is a 10 day round-trip on the Island Princess in June 2025 from New York to Canada, correct? Is there any possibility that the four of your teens would be fine hanging out together ? Are they all siblings? Are they cousins etc. ? Since this is summertime, I’m sure that there will be some teens onboard? I think it’s difficult to say at this point in time and would your decision change on itinerary or cruise line if there was none onboard or very few? It is possible to go onto your roll call or start a roll call and ask if others that are booked on your voyage if they have teens or is it even possible to call Princess before your final payment is due and see how many teens are booked? I don’t know if they give that information out or not on any cruise line?
  4. @tjcletzgo I don’t think you meant December 14 ,but anyways …obviously just keep monitoring everything i.e. meaning cruise critic and any other social media platforms and see how many of the next cruises are affected and you have about one month before you really need to decide ,since your final payment is in June, if your cruise is still going to your satisfaction at that point. Only you can decide if you’d like to cancel or not or move to another ship, etc. It will depend on what type of deposit you made etc. if you cancel before final payment. If this cruise is definitely a bucket list item and you’ve never been to Alaska. Yes, you definitely have a decision to make. I think at this point nobody has a crystal ball to know what ship is not going to be following the itinerary that it’s supposed to or if the Sapphire is going to continue to have problems, I think nobody knows this for sure .
  5. Do you sail soon or is final payment soon? I am not onboard. I think if you are at the end of the season, time will tell for you. I am sure they are working on the issue, I believe there was a letter posted somewhere from the captain.Post #37
  6. @JamieLogical Interesting differences ship to ship on luggage out the night before. Here is Majestic instructions.
  7. I have enjoyed reading along. sounds like you enjoyed your games, food, & drink for the most part. Hope you do a Live from in August.
  8. @Jetswdo hope the take out process isn’t as long of a wait for you, compared to dining in. Let everyone know how it goes.
  9. @CineGraphic status match program from other cruise lines Sounds like a very good perk on VV. Enjoy your upcoming voyages. Some day I would like to try VV.
  10. Discovery Princess also has this drink (Amaretto Manhattan) in Crooners.
  11. @LACruiser88 I hope you will continue Live from on your next voyage ( October), very much enjoyed reading and following along.
  12. Here is menu from Take 5 on Enchanted. I cropped it, to pretty much only include The Amaretto Manhattan. So same info as @HotRoot,just different ship / bar? not my photo ,so ….. I think this menu is from Take 5,but it could’ve been crown bar grill?
  13. @FancyPants21 great observations about dress code and liked reading your Live from.
  14. Pretty sure you can use onboard credit for anything that gets charged to your account. It’s not designated to what it goes for. If you have $100 in onboard credit and you have $100 worth of charges( i.e. gratuities -because you’re on standard fare or drinks or photos, or excursions, etc.that you owe to the cruise line, it gets taken off line by line, if that makes any sense
