rozen Posted July 4, 2012 #1 Share Posted July 4, 2012 I am deciding between A1 and A2 cabins on Summit. is there any difference in the size of the cabin, or the layout, not interested in the AFT cabins. the price is only $50.00 more for A1 , but is it better I have been on Solstice AQ, and loved it. momofmeg Posted July 4, 2012 #2 Share Posted July 4, 2012 I was wondering that too-we may take a winter cruise on the Connie and I wanted to try out Aqua if we do-I hope someone tells us.
Phxazzcruisers Posted July 4, 2012 #3 Share Posted July 4, 2012 There is not a size difference. The difference is location on ship. In our opinion the best part of Aqua Class is being able to eat in Blu, the specialty restaurant dedicated to Aqua Class guests. The food is GREAT
Toronto Guy Posted July 4, 2012 #4 Share Posted July 4, 2012 Take one of the Deck 11 cabins if you can get one. They are brand new.
Kevnzworld Posted July 4, 2012 #5 Share Posted July 4, 2012 I cruised on the refurbished Infinity in Aqua in January , and the Equinox in Aqua in April. The biggest difference is the bathroom. The new Infinity AQ bathroom doesn't have that shower pod . I liked the Equinox bathroom better. Hopefully they've fixed the leaky shower doors on the Infinity by now. I was on deck 11. No contest for me..we were on deck 11 starboard on our recent summit cruise and booked same for the Bermuda Repo cruise next year.. While the balcony may be smaller...there is no overhang to disrupt the view and sun..an no noise from above as is often the case on deck 9 ... Also the limited number of cabins on 11 creates a sort of exclusitivity to the corridors...to say nothing of the easy access to the Sunset Bar at aft 10. :D
Gig103 Posted July 4, 2012 #7 Share Posted July 4, 2012 It's only the location; deck 11 vs. deck 9. We decided we would rather the covered balconies, and the added privacy, of deck 9 and A2 (and that was with both classes being the same cost on our upcoming cruise). Here are photos to help you decide: Picture of Infinity Aqua Class Deck 11 deck for rooms on side (not aft) of ship
