sheridan318 Posted September 23, 2017 #1 Share Posted September 23, 2017 Has anyone else logged in to the Royal website to book a cruise? I have tried a dummy booking and its worse than the program they had before, now there isn't any place to put your diamond or diamond plus number in to get your balcony discount:mad: and its even harder to navigate the site
wagtail_syd Posted September 23, 2017 #2 Share Posted September 23, 2017 It is horrendous. I tried to book online a few weeks ago and ended up giving up and calling their call centre. It kept kicking me out and was just very clunky to use.
Rare MicCanberra Posted September 23, 2017 #3 Share Posted September 23, 2017 Personally, I think it is a move by cruise lines to (not so subtle) direct people through to TAs.
sheridan318 Posted September 24, 2017 Author #4 Share Posted September 24, 2017 Agree with you Mic, its a shame as I prefer to have control of my own bookings
The_Big_M Posted September 24, 2017 #5 Share Posted September 24, 2017 Has anyone else logged in to the Royal website to book a cruise? I have tried a dummy booking and its worse than the program they had before, now there isn't any place to put your diamond or diamond plus number in to get your balcony discount:mad: and its even harder to navigate the site They still have the ability to enter your member number. It appears as you enter the booking details. When you have entered the number the discount will be adjusted on your total.

megsie Posted September 24, 2017 #7 Share Posted September 24, 2017 Booked Ovation over the weekend. It wasn't until you filled in booking details that the C&A number was noted as The_Big_M wrote. I got the Diamond balcony discount but lost the OBC! As the OBC was only $50, We were better off with the discount.
