Princess wait list question

We are hoping someone can help out with this. We have a cruise booked for this up coming weekend and we have a cabin already however we decide now to bring our DS with us. I called princess and they told us we are on the waitlist now as our cabin won't hold 3 people. Now here is the question they told us we would know the night before the cruise if we can get a different cabin now do you know do they email you call you as when i log into my princess it does not show any wait list. Any help would be great.

Did you ask Princess their procedure to contacting you?

I think the women was new I was on the call almost a hour. I am thinking about calling back today to figure out what is going on.

Good idea. The quality of service and the level of knowledge can vary greatly when calling Princess. I've had someone tell me "no way" and then called back 10 minutes later and spoken with someone else who said "of course!".

It sure felt that way very nice women but you could tell she was reading things to figure out what to do and had to put me on hold a few times to go ask someone.

We are on a waitlist for the May 10 sailing on the Coral. I was told to watch my email and/or as the date draws closer, I would "probably" receive a phone call. Since you already had a cabin, I agree with the other responders, give Princess a call again (weekdays during regular business hours seems to work best.)
