Keith, unless they removed it, the Epic does have a viewing room. I believe Deck 13, starboard.

Apologies, you are absolutely correct. I've been there a few times as we usually stay near it. :)

On another thread, someone reported being told by NCL that they are going to close off the bridge viewing rooms for security reasons. :(

Yes, when we were on the Escape last week, the staff giving the behind-the-scenes tour said that the bridge was not included on the Escape (paid or free tour), and that NCL was going to seal off the bridge viewing rooms on other ships to minimize access to the bridge (i.e. through the glass viewing windows). Mostly resulting from the Paris terrorist attacks. We were also escorted by ship's security on our tour.

I have not seen any reports that this has been done. We were on the Spirit last month and the bridge viewing room was part of the tour and open to the general public.
