dcsam Posted June 18, 2016 #1 Share Posted June 18, 2016 Lovin the itinerary this B2B makes. Truly, an Italian dream come true. Perhaps we waited too long in booking. The cost is averaging >$1000 per couple per night for a balcony. Any hopes more 'specials' will open up? We are tentatively booked with Viking Oceans (a 72 hour hold) at a lower rate that also includes more, but Azamara's itinerary is what I'm hoping for. IsanTom Posted June 18, 2016 #2 Share Posted June 18, 2016 You waited too long! Try and book when the cruise opens up!
florisdekort Posted June 19, 2016 #3 Share Posted June 19, 2016 If the cruise you're buying is worth the price it's currently selling for to you, you haven't waited too long. I never care about what others have paid or yesterday's/tomorrow's promotions. If I'm happy when I'm buying, I'm happy :)

Out of curiosity I checked the originally published brochure fares (US) for a Club Veranda stateroom on these two voyages: 9/23 voyage $3399 9/30 voyage $3399 Sum $6798, or $485.57 per diem per person Today, 6/19/16, the website has them starting at: 9/23 voyage $3849 9/30 voyage $3299 Sum $7148, or $510.57 pdpp This is an increase of $350, or 5%. Less of an increase than I would have guessed without checking.
