Has Cunard switched soft drink provider?

Last time I cruised with Cunard they had Coca Cola. Looking through the website now, I noticed it said Pepsi. Do Cunard still offer Coca Cola?

on our QM2 trip in June the fountain drinks and most cans were pepsi products

However Coke and Diet Coke in bottles was available and listed on the bar menu. You just had to make a point of asking for it specifically. And it cost more ....

The last time we sailed on Cunard, which was 2014, the soft drink onboard was Pepsi.

Presumably they got a better deal with Pepsi? Much prefer Coke. I find Pepsi tastes quite sweet, even the diet variety :(

Coke is still there, you just need to ask for it if you don't see it. As mentioned, it's on the bar menus, etc., just not in the bar fridge in your stateroom. It's in a (larger) bottle compared to the small cans of the Pepsi varieties, thus part-cause of the higher price.

I WAS a coca cola fan, but I was told by a staff member they no longer do the can or from the pump, only a bottle which I think is expensive. He said that Coca Cola would not supply at the price Carnival wanted to pay.:confused:

Current prices (including 15% auto service charge) are $4.03 for Coca-Cola (in bottles) and $3.16 for Pepsi (in cans).

They buy wherever they can get it cheapest. I've been served cans from a South African bottler- the can was much heavier and sturdier than normal, which gave me the hint to check. To the best of my knowledge, bottlers may also change the recipe to suit the local market, so the products may differ as well.
