Single cabins on Queen Victoria

On QE there is a door between the forward lifts/staircase and the casino that takes you to the corridor where the single staterooms are located. I believe it is the same on QV.

correct Scrapnana, there is a door into the casino from the corridor but also a entrance door from the side that the theatre exits from.

I like the way the staterooms were done, they have a nice private area and once inside the access way you wouldn't know you were anywhere else than the other accommodation deck.s

The windows being the old casino ones are much bigger than the other ocean view ones and you can lie in bed and see the sea...which in my mind is a big advantage.

Some photos of QE Solo Stateroom where part of the Casino used to be. QV has been altered the same way.

The Casino is to the left of the Corridor with far end door leading into an enclosed area then into Casino, The other end leads to a slight L shape with two more cabins and a door then corridor to The Theatre. There is one room that has no windows.

Pennbank - am I correct from your photos that there is no sofa in these cabins? It looks like there is a chest of drawers where one would normally be.

Correct, In The Ocean View Solo Cabins replacing some of the Casino On QE There was no sofa . However you could sit on the window ledge, The Wardrobe doors were also sliding type.
