Eclipse

Any ships out there where they can view the eclipse?

None of the NCL ships along the path, read that one Royal Caribbean ship should be. Plenty to view online in HD, just saw cable news coverage ... totality lasted under 3 minutes in WO and OR.

Apparently Royal Caribbean hired Bonnie Tyler to sign her 80's hit Total Eclipse Of The Heart during the eclipse on one of their ships. Talk about ruining a once in a lifetime moment.

The eclipse here at NYC was about 70% eclipse , nothing that great and clouds got in the way most of the time :(

OMG, We just saw the total eclipse from my front yard in Townsend Tn. It was the most amazing thing (besides my children) I have ever seen. It was so dark the solar lights on the front porch came on. I can only imagine seeing it front the deck of a ship, that would be awesome.

Royal's Oasis of the Seas detoured into path of totality.

We saw it partial. Skies were clear. But in 7 years we get a total one. Now I have to remember to stay home and not be on a cruise. LOL.
