Thank You Everyone

We arrived yesterday at 7 am and there was no wait at all ,Just a little wait for our luggage .Maybe we were lucky with the early arrival time.Our driver sent a text to say we would be charged 5 euros per 15 minutes after an hour but we were with him in the car in 45 minutes. The only thing I noticed were the trolleys were chained up due to strikes and unavailable.

I think the car service would actually be a better choice.

Hi Randy, I emailed the hotel and am keeping the car service:)

The folks on strike are the security staff, so it is impacting primarily departing passengers with long waits at the security controls. There may be a spill-over impact on arrivals, but the real mess is on the departure side....

I emailed my hotel and that is exactly what they said!....affecting departures, rather than arrivals........

You may want to contact the car service. They, surely, are aware of the situation at the airport and they may advise you as to what to do due to the long waits. I have been delayed and the company was aware that I would be and adjusted accordingly.

My car service is through the hotel......I emailed them this morning and will keep them as my ride:)

Appreciate these wonderful pictures from Spins. Glad things are getting clarified on the "strike" situation in Barcelona. Good luck!! Be patient!! It will all work out. Fortunately you get to Barcelona a little early and have that "cushion" built into your schedule.

Lois - if you need to do laundry while on board, the laundry rooms on Deck 10 & 11 are rarely used since the Silver suites have complimentary laundry.

Also, do visit the Observation Bar on Deck 11 in the evening. It is a lovely quiet place to have a cocktail and the service is superb.

Safe and wonderful travels, Lois! We got caught up in a poorly staffed customs in Barcelona while three international flights arrived at the same time, and we had a long, long wait in line. But, you know what, Barcelona was very much worth the wait, and the cruise was fantastic!! I'm sure you will be delighted.

Great seating!! Single-numbered rows on an airline have lots of pluses. Good luck through that large and challenged Miami airport. Glad you are all packed.

Hey Terry, I have flown into and out of the Miami Airport for many years........nothing new for me there.........:eek: The route from here

to there is a whopping hour and 15 minutes....LOL.........the planes that go down there are American Eagle.....small.....we get off,

go inside and have to take the Escalator up.........at least everything is in the D concourse.........(I think all of AMERICAN is there

anyway)
