CCFC Posted April 30, 2016 #3 Share Posted April 30, 2016 I found they tend to round everything up to the nearest dollar. In Nelsons dockyard I asked for a can of Coke and handed over $5 expecting change, it never happened!
mkh999 Posted April 30, 2016 #4 Share Posted April 30, 2016 Take US Dollars, and get them in the UK before your trip. As stated would not take anything above $20 bills due to getting change from your purchase in local currency. Enjoy your cruise. Martyn
Ataraxia Posted April 30, 2016 #5 Share Posted April 30, 2016 If you go to a French island take some Euros - they rip you off by accepting dollars as one to one.
Sanjam cruisers Posted April 30, 2016 #6 Share Posted April 30, 2016 As others have said the mighty US Dollar bills no bigger than twenty's and some Euros if going to French Islands IE: Martinque, Guadaloupe. Buy here pruor to cruise, exchange rate on ship very poor. Have a great cruise Caribbean is brilliant.
