Katemusical Posted May 6, 2015 #1 Share Posted May 6, 2015 I was looking on another website to find tour companies that are popular, safe, and worth taking. I'm looking for a tour through Ensenada that includes the Blowhole and the wineries. Has anyone hired a private company that did this? Thank you in advance! I have not, but the woman listed on this site looks to be exactly what you are looking for: http://www.toursbylocals.com/EnsenadaPrivateTourGuide One thing to note - La bufadora is to the south and the vineyards are to the north of town. BTW - I find La Bufadora to be really not all that special. Lots of flea market stuff to buy and some restaurants. However, the drive is nice and gives you some nice views of the coast and country side.
sassyredhat Posted May 7, 2015 #3 Share Posted May 7, 2015 This isn't what you asked, but we took the ship 2 wineries tour, and it was great. Patti
Katemusical Posted May 12, 2015 Author #4 Share Posted May 12, 2015 Just found out that the locals' tour that you suggested is booked up already. Boo. hmmm any other ideas for us?
bearette Posted May 31, 2015 #5 Share Posted May 31, 2015 You can find a cab and negotiate for what you want but as someone else notes they are opposite sides of the area. We just did the wineries and negotiated a tour for two for $80 last summer. We went to three wineries, some the same as the ship but without the crowds. We payed for the tastings/tours at the wineries which was around $10 for tour and $5 for tasting. One was free. Our driver asked us to make a stop at his friends house to pick something up, it was a gallon of wine. He let us taste it too. It was pretty good and a fun adventure.
