Regent Rewards - Plutonium

Okay I know but this is just for fun ! Travelcat 2 and we will soon be titanium. No big deal but wondering what's next, maybe "Plutonium". So the question is if there was a Plutonium level what the benefits might be? And how many nights would be required to attain Plutonium? Maybe a 1 category upgrade or a full body massage each night? The required nights might be something like 1000 but then again who really cares! Interesting don't you think.

Maybe the next level should be call unobtainium. Sadly no extra "published" benefits to strive for past 400 days.

Those that I know who have over 800 days on Regent refer to themselves as "2-tits" (Titanium x 2). Even a few rarer "3-tits." Never met a 4.

Never understood why they put Titanium as top level as the only metal less expensive per pound is bronze.

On the Explorer crossing there was an individual who has sailed more than 100 Regent cruises and still going. On some cruises there are no titanium members and on others there are quite a few - we are almost there!

AS far as I am concerned, in order of importance, the best benefits are:

1) free laundry and pressing by the wonderful laundry fairies who magically take the dirty laundry and return with sparkling pressed clothing

2) unlimited free internet (when working)

3) printed Wall Street Journals and New York Times

4) telephone time

gnomie :)

captjohn: You are so funny! Let's see, we already get plenty of phone and internet time (which, IMO, works fine) and newspapers. I do like that we will get private transfers to and from the ship when we become Titanium as well as the dry cleaning.

As you know, folks in the Regent suite get included private excursions. So, giving a couple of private excursions would be a good thing. Would like to see a butler - no matter what category of suite you book (and, if you are already in a butler suite, your butler should not necessarily be dedicated to you 24/7 but should have fewer other suites to take care of so that there is more time for you.)

It is interesting that, according to Regent's website, we should have had a special caviar serving (due to our suite - not a loyalty benefit). We were not offered this but would appreciate having the caviar service based on loyalty. We were also not invited to the Captain's table as is advertised on the website but really were not interested in doing that (much preferred our special dinner with the C.D. and Asst. C.D.).

We noticed on the Explorer that people in the Regent suite were escorted by their butler to the disembarkation area and were the first people to disembark. Would love that perk!

That is all that I can think of at the moment.
