so,ton saint Posted January 27, 2020 Hi again Aplmac its nice to see the old pic,s of Transvaal castle, i did sail six voyages on her old sister Windsor castle six week trips to south africa stopping at Gran canaria then straight through to Cape town east london port elizabeth and Durban, now getting of the subject in march this year we are stopping at the Savanagh beach hotel in Barbados and joining Carnival Fascination for our second week . We sailed on quite a few oldies from the 1950s that were built for for traveling the oceans for transportation and not cruising such as the Fairwind, Costa Riviera, Carla Costa, Regent Star and Seabreeze. James4me Posted April 19, 2020 I LOVE this! The 80’s/90’s were my prime time and on a Carnival cruise they let you have all the fun. I really miss those years but so grateful to be a part of that time when everyone was just happy. Link to comment
