Sleeping on the boat tonight. Had a good first day of the season on the River. Up early tomorrow and hope to get to Marlow by River. Went to a pub in a tiny village next to the Marina which has three restaurants/pubs with 7 Michelin stars between them. Our pub wasn't one of them but it was very good food

I would like to switch as well. For the first time ever we have early at 5.30. Too early for me but hubby said 8pm is too late for him now we're getting older so we're giving early a go 🤞

A bit behind so apologies if I've missed something important. I'll try and catch up tonight. We've finally got some good weather here. On Thursday we went to Bournemouth/Poole for a walk along the beach and yesterday we drove to Baron Rothschilds weekend party house, Waddesdon. Its now jointly owned by the family and the National Trust. We went for a wine tasting in the wine cellers. The family have thousands of bottles, one magnum is worth half a million pounds. There are loads of Rothchilds vineyards all over the world including China and California. Today we hope to go out on the boat for the first time as the Thames has finally dropped from red to yellow, decreasing status.
