  1. Not a veranda at all. It is an ocean view cabin with a large window. The upper half of that window can be lowered so you can get fresh air. However, it is nothing like a balcony.
  2. I believe there are chairs with coffee and a few muffins, etc. in the Retreat waiting area, correct? Is there facial recognition upon debarkation? Seems like a few years ago there was none and lines were awful.
  3. Easy to go to Eagle Beach on your own. We used to take the bus for $2 round trip. You can also take a taxi. It is fairly close to the port terminal. Eagle Beach is often listed among the world's best beaches.
  4. Drink menus at each bar, including the Martini Bar, simply list the specialty drinks at that bar. All regular mixed drinks can be covered in the classic alcohol package. In other words, $10 or less. Actually, I don't think there is a menu of "common" drinks. There are wine menus at some bars.
  5. oceangoer2Thanks , but I can't book dinner times on line because only later times are showing.
  6. If you have Select dining and are going to see a Maitre d' on boarding day to arrange dining time, please advise how that goes. We board in 3 weeks and have never been on Eclipse before. Have done Equinox many times as well as RF and SL. I also will be curious to know if Decoy is available in both Cellar Masters and Sky Lounge and what brand of champagne is being served. It has been either Cattier or Haslinger the last few cruises we have done. TIA
  7. The package is good throughout the ship. However, no package needed for drinks in the Retreat. Those drinks are "free".
  8. Upon request they will save the "left over" wine for the next night.
  9. If on an S class ship and the espresso martinis are from the pre-mix machine, you can get a fresh made espresso martini at the Passport bar.
  10. We had a private tour with Dora in Cartagena and it was great. Try googling Dora Tours Cartagena, as I'm not sure of her e-mail at this point.
  11. No beer specials. No laundry room on any Celebrity ship.
  12. We've cruised Equinox several times, and have also sailed Silhouette and Reflection. Do not be concerned about Equinox. Fine service all over the ship and Craft Social is a great bar area. All of the staff seem to want you to have a fine experience, from the restroom attendants and up.
  13. If you like the big ships of RCI, you will probably prefer the newer E class ships to the smaller, more classics S class ships. . Tho' E class ships have none of the bells and whistles like Oasis class, they are very modern in design and have outstanding theater capabilities.
  14. Are these now refundable or transferable if the cruise has to be cancelled? Seems several years ago points were not refundable for any reason. Is it still necessary to call the Cap. Club to notify that points have been used for OBC from the CC? Again, a year or so ago it was necessary to call after doing the OBC points on BOA VIsa card.
