  1. Unsupervised self test are now allowed. The charade continues
  2. Yes.. but this had been filled out and checked off their "to do list" for 2 months.. This was something new and had a little bit different language.
  3. Logged into my cruise manager... and a new Vaccination Survey has popped up.
  4. Anyone know which bars offer a happy hour on embarkation day on the dream? Considering I spent over $900 on drink packages.. don't wanna spend alot of $$ on the first night before cheers kicks in. Thnx
  5. I have sailed both before and after as well. It seems to me, that before.. they would pull up your info, grab a card, take your photo... and you're off. It seemed more secure than sticking your card in a public space... just my thoughts. It makes me no difference either way.. I was just wondering the "why" behind the process. Thanks Yall
  6. Why did they stop giving you your S&S card when you checked in at the port? Seemed much more efficient the old way.
  7. I saw that.. and although I assumed u would need to have it proctored... for obvious reasons.... But I couldn't find that specific info "Unvaccinated guests or those who do not provide proof of vaccination must present the results of a negative PCR or antigen test taken within three days of embarkation.
  8. Same way u can present a positive pregnancy test without being proctored.
  9. For the unvax'd.. I understand they have to present a negative test taken within 3 days of sailing. Do these still have to be proctored? I'm assuming yes but didn't see anything on carnival site except "present a negative test" Thanks "Unvaccinated guests or those who do not provide proof of vaccination must present the results of a negative PCR or antigen test taken within three days of embarkation.
  10. Question about unvax'd. I understand if you are unvax'd... that u have to present a negative test taken 3 days or less prior to sailing. Does this test have to be proctored? Or just present a negative test?, TIA
  11. The whole "straw" policy is a charade. I make my living on the water and it's all nonsense. The Turtles getting straws up their nose are very isolated incidents. It's like getting struck by lightning... very slim chance and rarely happens. Just like beached whales or sharks beaching themselves.. very rare.. All these straw polices do is make someone "feel better".. it has absolutley no effects on the turtles or any other sea animal, fish
  12. I had a $600 OBC due to a fear virus cancelation on their end. I guess it had to be used by a certain date.. I didn't catch the date within the 10 emails they send me per day. So I lost my $600 OBC
  13. If you have already paid in full.. and u notice a price drop. Will they apply a credit or OBC to your acct to reflect the lower price?
  14. We don't smoke.. but have always enjoyed the casino bars.. before gambling, before dinner etc...
  15. I see they are removing some of the casino bars. Does anyone know what this is all about? For us, the casino bars are the most fun to hang out at.
  16. I believe they have both.. But there are fewer 3:2 ..... and those have a higher minimum bet
  17. I would still disagree with this for myself and what I enjoy doing on the cruise. A CD has no impact on me sitting in the sun by the pool, drinking buckets of beer, having a nice dinner or my luck in the casino. IMO, most of them seem very cheesy and annoying.. but that's just me.
  18. I know some ships have sports bars.. I am sailing on the Dream this fall and want to be able to watch some college football on Saturday. What are my options on the dream?
  19. Credit card or now u can use your on board credit
  20. Because that's what my wife likes to drink when sitting by the pool in the hot sun. I drink beer by the pool.. she likes claws Whiskey, rum, vodka, wine, etc... doesn't go too well while sitting on the beach or in the pool
  21. Do they sell white claws on the ship.. (Or similar) We are sailing on the dream out of galveston
