Good morning. Thanks for the Daily and Fleet Report, a lovely way to start the day. We've got a chance of freezing rain this morning, then changing to rain. Strange weather for January for us. It's windy too. Bertie and I will walk carefully when we go out. I will be sending Valentine's cards. I think people love getting mail that isn't a bill. I wave all my fingers at my neighbours. I'm not a big fan of ballet. Interesting quote from a great author. The meal sounds good, looking forward to seeing the recipe. Not sure about the drink and wine. @durangoscotsI hope Bandit is okay. Bertie was attacked a few years ago by a Rhodesian Ridgeback that got away from the child that was walking it. He was unhurt but I was very shaken up. We don't walk down that street anymore.

Good morning. Thanks for the Daily and Fleet Report. The worst of the cold has passed us 🙂. The weatherman has forecast a high of 2°C with a chance of flurries. I won't be showering with a friend today. I appreciate our weathermen and women even though I don't always believe their predictions. I was lucky and have never had to dump a jerk. Love the quote. Good morning from a cold (-17°C) Southern Ontario. Our Extreme Cold Warning has ended and we should warm up to -3°C this afternoon.🙂 Thanks for the Daily and Fleet Report. It's too cold for me to eat ice cream for breakfast - oh, maybe affogato al caffe might do the trick. Stuffed mushrooms would be tasty but I don't think I can create a vacuum. I'm glad to hear that Roy is home. Rest well, I hope you feel better soon. I hope Jacqui can bear the pain while her elbow heals. Good morning. Thanks for the Fleet and Daily Report. Lots more snow coming down here. We've got a winter weather travel advisory warning. Lots of snow and wind causing reduced visibility. Good thing we don't have to go anywhere. I guess we'll get shovels and the snowblower out later. We still use an answering machine, but the message is boring, not inane. I love bubble pack, too bad it's not recyclable. There's no escape from the snow for us. Interesting quote.
