Carolyn can you tell me more about the float plane tour from the ship. Did you land on the water ? On an iceberg ? How many people were on the plane and did everyone have a window seat? I heard you may not get to sit by your spouse because they decide based on weight :(

Just got off Eclipse last weekend.
When we boarded we went to the ILounge and the attendant converted my 90 minute elite benefit into a 30% discount for unlimited internet on one device.
Perhaps that interests you.
How did that work out price wise ? It looks like unlimited internet on our next cruise would be $287 for one device. We both get 90 min for free. Would love to apply the value of those towards an unlimited internet package. Do they always do this or ship by ship decision ? Thx

I've sent an email to the one recommended above. It looks like the actual sledding is about 20 min. I'm going to see if I can just wait while my hubby goes. I really want to do the rest of it and don't want him to miss this. Who knows if in the future my back will be better or worse. Hopefully I can bundle up it looks cold brr

Infinity has the new rooftop terrace with outdoor movies we loved it. Eclipse had an outdoor movie at the pool we didn't go was told they used some sort of pull down screen. Eclipse had about 8 free movies on demand and they played some great ones in the movie theatre :)

I'm definitely going to clear with my dr I wouldn't risk my health. My question is more related to how rough and how much I would hurt after. The atv on rough terrain was a great but disappointing description because I have felt that and it did not feel good similar to horseback riding. Not sure if when you book if you know will this location be on ice or snow.

The stateroom attendants used to always have an assistant also. If you ask them about it they say they don't have an assistant anymore plus they have more rooms. We feel bad when they are working before we get up and long after we go to bed. It's honorable how hard they work for the opportunity for them and their families. I wish the cruise line still had assistants for them.

Can someone tell me if they have done this with a bad back or neck and how was it? Compared to horseback riding is it smoother or rougher? Thx

Just keep your attention on your spouse, family member or whoever you are dining with and enjoy their company and being waited on and you won't even notice what anyone else is wearing. We never do.

Our last 3 cruises it was bags out by 10pm and out of room by 7am. We don't love it but know the room attendants have to work so hard to flip the ship and it gives them an extra hour.

We were just in a c1 aft on eclipse and would say less privacy. We were on deck 9 and unless we were right against the doors everyone upstairs could see us. Also soot we had a ton of it. It was on our feet and clothes if we forgot to put a towel on the chairs. The room attendant cleaned it everyday but it was quick to return.

I don't list all our cruises in my signature doesn't mean we haven't taken a ton. It's odd to me that when someone says that something bad happened no one believes them so odd

We were just on Infinity for b2b and ate the buffet no romaine or iceburg either. On the days they had a Cesar salad station I took my plate down there and got lettuce and then went back to salad bar. The salad guy bar suggested it said he only had spinach and whatever that other fancy one is.
Lunchmeat was really bad looking and not sure what it was.
Not sure why someone giving their opinion is attacked on here. I appreciate all the comments good and bad. We either ate in the main dining room that had horrible service or room service. Room service had the best food and service of all the choices. And yes we spoke to dining room managers and guest services with no improvements.

Equinox is the only ship that we have been on that has on demand fairly new movies for free. Most don't even have a movie channel anymore unless you count tbs / Tnt so rent away. You can rent a pay per view movie. I think they were $15 last we checked. We also love to watch movies in the room or even better at an outdoor screen :)

We have a celebrity cruise ending in Vancouver the beginning of next June and would be interested in advice to do some sight seeing on our own. We love to be in nature and don't want to be rushed from something we are enjoying (this happened to us in Muir Woods on a tour). Would be fine renting a car or taking a train. In about a week would need to work our way to an airport to fly back to Florida. Where should we go ? We have been to California so thinking Alaska or Canada. Thx everyone:)

The other poster is correct it is on the bottom left under the everyday items. I would like to hear from
someone that tried one of them

I don't remember exactly, there was a steak and there was lobster not sure what else but the price was high enough we said if we were willing to pay that we would just go to a speciality restaurant for better service and all around food

We were just b2b on Infinity and the mdr food was just awful. We ordered the everyday steak or salmon most nights. It was average at best. There were many upcharge items we did not try. We did order a filet from the kids menu and it was excellent

We usually just ask do you have wifi if we buy a drink and it's usually a yes. It's so much faster than the ship and for the price of a couple drinks we can jump on our phones and check email, check on our business and check on kids etc and then back to vacation :)

When booking a river cruise, you should avoid going during the months when high and low water problems occur the most frequently just as you should avoid Alaska during its most wet months.
I'm curious for future reference when would that be?

No I actually like doing the research and handling it. I missed my calling as a travel agent. Not sure what I did before cruise critic I've had some amazing help planning activities etc :)

It's the plane size although he is tall big guy so a bigger seat is nice. He feels safer on a large plane and also asks are there 2 engines lol. He hates the take off and landing so anything nonstop would be the best option. I'll look up west jet I've never heard of it. We only fly every few years.

I know and I try to do it a couple of times during the week. When I do it the first time the wipes are so dirty so it makes me feel better to know it's been cleaned at least to start the trip :)
