  1. I just realized I have some planning to do here glad someone else started this. Sorry to hijack your thread.

So our cruse ends in Vancouver. We will have already done the pacific coastal cruise. So should we spend few days in Vancouver and just fly home from there ? My husband hates flying so I was really thinking Seattle so we could get a larger plane (he hates small planes) but maybe we should stay there or go further into Canada. Thoughts anyone ? We love the outdoors and being active thx

  2. Can you tell me how much a taxi was from the cruise port to the money bar. Are taxis set rates or by the mile? Also how long did it take to get there and was it easy to get a taxi back ?

Any other advice ? We plan on having some drinks and lunch and bringing our own snorkel gear. Hoping I can stay on a lounger and read while my hubby snorkels as he snorkels longer than I do. Thx :)

  3. Hi we had an amazing guest speaker on celebrity infinity panama cruise last year and I'm trying to find out his name. He was very funny and educational, looked a little like Robin Williams and always wore different silly hats. He packed the theatre every rime he spoke. He was maybe in his 60's and had his blond wife traveling with him and said he was staying on for Alaska the whole summer. Thx :)

  4. I have also have a cervical fusion and have pillow issues when traveling. Celebrity will bring you a stack of options but they never work out for me. Since my neck pain can ruin a trip I bring my own pillow it's a pain but so worth it.

  5. We are very active and enjoyed our transatlantic. However we really enjoy just being alone together and reading, watching movies, playing cards etc. We went to the gym a lot and walked miles around the ship. I think as long as you really enjoy your companions company and don't need a lot of entertainment they are a great value. We found very little ship entertainment unless you enjoy trivia type stuff. However we have friends that would have lost their minds with that many seas days. Happy cruising :)

  6. Lucky you! A lot of people posting on here have been talking about their Freedom/Voyager/Radiance class cruises...

If an Oasis class sailed out of Southampton, I would be on it practically permanently. However, with them taking away the Quantum class and replacing it with 2 old ships next year, it is a disappointment. I can't always travel to the US and the Med itineraries out of Barcelona/Rome on Allure this summer are repetitive and uninteresting... not to mention $$$$.

At least with the Oasis class itineraries out of Florida they are introducing a couple of new ports, which changes up the usual Eastern/Western.

What are the new ports for Oasis class for eastern/western ? I did not know they were changing. That makes me so happy :)

  7. The kayak tour thru the ship is sold out and the independent operator actually discouraged me from booking. She was concerned about us getting back in time. So I'm going to use the above website to work on a walking tour plan and try to get on waitlist for kayaks. Does anyone know if they still hold some spots on shore excursions for booking onboard ? I know they used to before most everyone had Internet access. Thx

  8. We don't get in until 4pm so the forts are out this time. Can anyone recommend a safe interesting walking tour and then we could stop at the above restaurant recommendation for dinner and drinks and stroll some more. Thx :)
