So here's our update. We liked the paradise grill idea but their policy has changed you can't have a table to keep for day with food/drink purchase anymore. They have lockers (very tiny) and said eat or snorkel first pick one. So we walked down to the Eden rock dive center. We figured we would snorkel and then go eat wherever. It was super easy and reasonable to rent equipment. They had huge lockers for $5 and a bathroom, free wifi and outdoor shower. They have a few picnic tables and lounge chairs also. Thanks for the help it was perfect :)

We book a guarantee often then as soon as it is assigned choose the best available cabin in that category and change it. Happy cruising [emoji3]

SPacificbound you bring up an interesting point- We do book 3-6 months out most of the time no matter whether carribean, Europe, Bermuda etc. so maybe I do need to check prices further out and see if it's worth booking sooner.

I agree prices are way up its hard to find a great price even with some flexibility. We also prefer pt canaveral but we use any port in Florida or fly if something special. We have been finding better prices on Celebrity lately. We cruise both very often they both have advantages and disadvantages but match our crown and anchor level up to a certain level.

Great advice everyone thanks :)

Does the champagne catamaran to St John leave right from the port or do you have to take a bus first ? Also, was it a small 20-30 people group or those large 60-80 people tours ? Thx

It's just the two of us so private tour would be too pricey but I love the suggestion of Eden Rock. I only snorkel an hour or so and then I'm tired since I'm not a great swimmer but my husband would snorkel much longer. Is there somewhere shady I could sit and read a book or grab a snack and wifi so he wouldn't feel rushed to finish? Or could I float on a blow up raft near shore or would I be thrown into rocks?

Hi we are looking for a small group shore excursion for snorkeling preferable a catamaran. We have been to stingray city and would prefer to go somewhere else. Does anyone have a recommendation? Most of the companies on trip advisor are scuba only thx

We sailed vision last year on a b2b and had amazing service and there was a movie poolside almost every evening. It was a highlite of our trip [emoji16]

On allure last November those were the same movies

We've ordered cheeseburgers and brownies off the kids menus and we are in our 40's. They don't mind at all and they were delicious.

I can't reach them either maybe out of business

Hi I'm looking for horseback riding with either a crocodile boat trip or horses and tram or maybe hiking. Something active and fun (except zip lining). Celebrity excursions only have horses combined with zip lining. Can anyone recommend a tour operator ? Also anyone to avoid ? Thx in advance

Cruzbuds Le port royal was a hotel I was considering for 3 days precruise. Was it a smooth walk with luggage or curb jumping etc? Would love to skip a taxi ride. Since it has a kitchen would love to find a grocery store close did you see one?

We are enjoying each other's company at dinner. I wouldn't even notice if someone was dressed too casual and if I did it certainly wouldn't change my enjoyment of that meal. Focus on what matters the pleasure of a meal with people you care about. (Only thing that has ever disturbed our meal was unruly kids)

Can someone tell me on a recent western itinerary what night / times the love and marriage show and quest show were held? I want to make sure I don't reserve something at the same time as they are our favorites. Also, what reserved shows were a "must see"? Thanks everyone 😄

I totally agree with that statement that's high for 7 nights and no points

I thought as long as you pay something for the upgrade you get the points. Haven't had this problem / lucky opportunity yet but I would want the points if I paid extra to upgrade.

Evening ideas
in San Juan, PR
Posted
Hi everyone a couple of years ago we were in San Juan for the day. We received the best advice on how to tour the 2 forts on our own and had an awesome time. We love to walk, hike etc.
This time our cruise docks 4pm-11pm and we are stumped. Would love any ideas on what we could do preferably walking or at least without a tour group. The only thing slightly interesting offered by the cruiseline is a kayak tour to bio luminescent area that has very mixed reviews.
Also other than the cemetery area is there anywhere not safe to explore ?
Thx :)
