I'm sure somewhere on these many pages this must have been answered before but...can I activate the medallion from home or do I have to wait until we board? I've downloaded the app and we're ready to go on June 4 with the exception of the health summary. Thanks for your help. Helen

I received a casino offer in April with a different code but it also included the 9 day Atlantic Coast cruise on the Zaandam. I just logged into my account and it shows $200 for an inside or ocean view cabin. My experience on these cruises has been that the cabin will be a guarantee status and cabin will not be assigned until right before the cruise and could be anywhere on the ship. Helen

Did you login in to your account? If the casino offer is there it will show the $200 fare. Helen

Then if you don’t spend it they may refund it to you in the form of a gift card. Check with guest services when you board.

Ask guest services for a printout showing the breakdown of non-refundable and refundable OBC. It all depends how you got the OBC. If it’s from HAL then that’s usually non-refundable. If it’s your gift card or from your travel agent then that should be refundable. Helen

Someone on a Princess site said that as of 3 weeks ago HAL is not allowing smoking in the casino on any of their ships. She said it was on the HAL website but I couldn’t find anything to confirm this information. Does anyone know if this is correct? Helen

My name is Helen and I am a longtime lurker on The Daily. First let me thank you for all the information that all of you share. It has helped me numerous times. But that is not the real reason I'm writing today. I belong to numerous different groups on Facebook but, very honestly, I have never seen a group like this one. You are the most caring, loving and concerned people. I am sure that some of you may have cruised together before but that most of you have actually never met in person. But seeing your love and kindness towards each other has amazed me - especially your concern for Jacqui who is a dear friend. We cruised together with Jacqui and Jose in 2019 on the Prinsendam. My partner Angelo and Jose fell in love at first sight. Have you ever heard two grown men giggling and belly laughing together? That's how they were during the entire cruise. So much joy and so many wonderful memories. Don't know how often I will actually post but I wanted all of you to know you should be so proud of the group that you have created.
